Time Management
Use these handy tips and advice to improve your efficiency and maximise your productivity.
Write a task list
Write down everything you need to achieve over the day and/or week. Tudor has an excellent assortment of books and pads to help you do this. The best thing about a task list is the sense of satisfaction that comes with crossing items off of it.
Allocate your time
Prioritise the items on your list, including an estimated time frame and completion date for each task. Identify a performance benchmark. You may have 15 things on the list for any given day, but how many of them do you absolutely need to accomplish?
Set and respect deadlines
Be realistic about setting deadlines and do everything you can to meet them. Have you ever noticed how you can fly through your work the day before you go on holidays? The pressure of a deadline is a good way to get things done.
Get organised
Don’t waste time looking for files. Make sure your information is well organised and easy to find when you need it. More information on setting up a file management system can be found in the filing and organisation section.
